Sore throat cure!

Since I have a sore throat, I looked up online for best ways to get rid of it, and the best way is by gargling salt water! Now i'm not saying go to the beach, get a bucket of water from the waves, and dump it in your mouth. That's just gross. What I did is got some warm water (it can be whatever temparature) and poured a little bit of regular of salt! It supposed to kill bacteria in the back of your mouth... But if you have any other suggestions, please comment!

1. I like grapes, but then again, watermelon is awesome!

Recipe #1 Chegs!

Ingredients:

1 egg
handful of cheese
salt & pepper
*hot sauce
*ketchup

Directions:


1. Get some Pam, or some other nonstick pan spray,
And spray your pan.
2. Get the egg and a bowl and crack it.
3. Add your salt and pepper. (it doesn't really how much you use, so do you your own thing :-)
4. Whisk the mixture together. If you don't have a whisk, a fork works the same way.
3. Get your cheese (it can be shredded or singles) and spread it around on a plate.

5. Now we leave the cheese alone, and turn up the heat! Turn to low heat. *The higher the heat, the faster the eggs will cook. 6. Pour your egg mix in the pan.
7. Get a spatula, and mix it around. When it starts to clump together so the eggs don't look so runny,
8. Scoop the eggs out onto the plate of cheese.
*Optional- Get some ketchup or hot sauce and sprinkle some of that on top.

I feel hungry, but i'm not.

Me and my friends talk about this every now and then, and the question is "why do we eat, when we're bored?" I don't know the answer to that, but maybe it's because when you have nothing to do, you think the only thing you can do, is eat. But that's not really true. You can do alot more to help get over your need to eat food when you don't really want food. Try doing something active or eating Trident gum. If you watch he show "The biggest loser" Jillian the trainer says that by eating trident gum, it will help when your on the go, and instead of eating a full snack, you can just chew on some gum, and that will fill you right up!

When you had a bad day, and your feeling the need to pull out your hair and scream at everyone, read these tips:

A cup of peppermint tea- The scent of peppermint tea helps you focus and boosts performance, according to researchers. In another study, they found that peppermint makes drivers more alert and less anxious!
But not, A can of soda- A study from the American Journal of Public Health found that people who drink 2 1/2 cans of soda daily are three times more likely to be depressed and anxious, compared to those who drink fewer.
Other good choices are stuff like: 1 cup of low-fat yogurt or tbsp of mixed nuts, red bell peppers, or a handful of sesame seeds.
Other bad choices are stuff that is sugary, or greasy.
